A few beauties from my garden - there is a tapestry of snowdrops and early crocuses…
Tulipness
Continuing the documentation of small beauties in my garden – to be exact, the small beauties in containers on my garden table. I like to see them close-up, so I have them live in small containers: frittilaria’s, small-sized daffodils, jonquils, botanical tulips.
I’ve been photographing flowers for a long time now, and am still puzzled by the question how to photograph the tulipness of a tulip, or the essence of a frittilaria. Think I found some pointers – silhouette is usually better than full-front – stems and leaves are to be included if possible – I use a Tamron zoom lens to give the flower center stage and make the background blurry.
