Haven’t been able to blog for a while, and it  irks me. I feel as if things haven’t really happened if I haven’t blogged about them.  My excuse: have been visiting Shanghai and Beijing. Part family reunion, part sightseeing trip, with a lot of art and street life thrown in – it was beautiful. But exhausting. Then I contracted influenza and almost coughed my lungs inside out, so the blogging got rather delayed.

Picture above was taken in the Shanghai subway – haven’t ever been so close to my fellow humans as during rush hour there – sardines in a barrel ain’t in it.  The subway management has a pushy style altogether and takes advertising to an extreme I have seldom met. Even the hand-hold thingies in the trains have little ads on them.
