Guess what – I made a photobook. Had such a lovely time! I used Blurb – they did such a good job on the book I made for my mother I decided to go with them again. The initial idea was to put the photoblog I wrote while on a world trip to paper, but the book format was so different from the blog format that I ended up making it into a separate entity, keeping the blog text but adding more photo’s or substituting photo’s that I now consider better. It needs a bit of distance to do this kind of calibration, I find. Valuable lesson learned!

Photo’s on paper have more permanence, sort of. Also, browsing a book gives a better overview. And from that overview, one conclusion is unescapable: I’m getting better at the photography thing.
