Start

To continue my short vignettes – we did the first of a series of evenings where the Dutch STARTS4Water residents do live tryouts with public. This was done at V2_Lab in Rotterdam, where I work as interim project manager.

First image is from the tryout by the Center for Genomic Gastronomy, who adopted the idea of food forestry as a way to influence water shortages and water exesses in the Veluwe area. They are debating the sale of futures – tokens that can be bought, sold and re-sold – in dinners made with the produce from a yet-to-be-planted food forest in ten years time.

Second image is a setup by Mark IJzerman, who links and mixes man-made structures and worm-made structures in Port of Rotterdam. Man-made on the screens, worm-made in the aquarium.
