Blogged  about video diary making yesterday – isn’t going very well. I’ve been looking at my takes and found them wanting. Want to find another approach, but how? Thinking about using a webcam – my small laptop has one. Or maybe use a mirror – like Farid and Leo did in the video I posted yesterday.

One thing I’m looking for and haven’t found the key to yet – am I going for a narrative  timeline like thing or something else? What is the organising principle to be?

Have learned over the years to have patience – an idea will crop up if I only keep doing things. Have also learned to not run away from an assignment but to allow myself this period of doubt and confusion.
